Eb90 002 International
The Ellis Briggs International was never a show-off. But in the hands of a seasoned rider, it quietly outclassed everything else on the road.
First introduced in the post-war boom of the 1950s, the International became our go-to model for riders who wanted a fast, elegant, and understated frame that could do it all — club rides, touring, even a bit of racing.
EB90–002 is a tribute to that spirit.
Handbuilt with modified pressed lugs — painstakingly reshaped to recreate the distinctive twin-plate crown effect we used on our classic Internationals — this frame balances heritage and performance with restrained confidence. Its geometry is relaxed enough for all-day riding, but tight enough to keep things lively on the climbs.
Painted in a deep, traditional tone with contrasting panels and hand-lined lugs, it captures the look and feel of a bygone era without falling into nostalgia.
And while it looks back, it also looks forward: this frame is part of a limited run of 90 individually numbered builds celebrating 90 years of Ellis Briggs craftsmanship — and part of a project helping to pass those skills on to the next generation.
