It’s always good to see one of our hand made frames return home for a repaint. Along with scrapes and chips to the paint that is to be expected on a 50 year old frame, this frame also needed rechroming.
I think you’ll agree though that chrome a dark metallic blue are a great combination.
We’ve been making Favori frames along side our Ellis Briggs frames since 1965. It’s hard to believe now but in the 1960s, cyclists found the Ellis Briggs name to be old fashioned and kept asking for an alternative. It was our shop manager John Rayner who came up with the Favori name.
