Fitting modern components to an 80s frame isn’t possible without some work to the frame. With this frame we widened the rear end to take an 8 speed and above rear wheel and fit a new brake bridge in so allen key type brakes can be fitted.
Combined with the French Blue respray and new transfers, this frame will build up into a great bike which will see many more years service.
This particular frame was our top of the range frameset in the early 1980s, with club cut-out lugs, bottom bracket cut outs and 531 Pro tubing.
