Fresh Paint – Some from the archives

Resprays, repaints, and frame repairs are our bread butter (for more info on our respray/renovation service, see here). This week the studio was booked up, so instead of skipping a week, here are some frames from the archives.

Ellis-Briggs International

Resprayed in flamboyant blue with white seat tube panel and head tube. Flam blue is another classic colour which has a very deep finish.

Our International model was our top of the range frame in the 1950s and into the 60s. It is the same frame model which carried Ken Russell to victory in the 1952 Tour of Britain.

Chrome ends and fork crown really set this frame off.

In this example, our customer supplied the frame and fork completely stripped of all parts.

Bianchi

If its a Bianchi, it absolutely has to be painted in Bianchi Green, just like this example. Simple and classic.
